Around £51 billion of Scottish exports were destined for the rest of the UK in 2018 out of a total of £85 billion for all exports . 71% of services exports were sold in the rest of the UK, whilst the figure was 38% for manufacturing exports.

Between 2009 and 2018 exports to the rest of the UK increased by 2.4% in real terms, while exports to the EU and other international destinations both increased by over 25%
